It wasn't removed. The text is added in afterwards with javascript.

The caption comes from @data-credit attribute. Note that it does not say "Photo by:" in the source: https://telegra.ph/file/ed10c23c84b274eedff5d.png

It is already in <cite> so it is assumed that the photo is by ABC15. The extra text is not essential to add in.
