Pictures from slideshow can a have a better resolution. For instance, the first slide has a size of 627x470 pixels in this template. My template renders it at 800x600.

- adevarul.ro uses 627x0 size to resize images site-wide. I could resize them to 4k if I wanted to, it is technically possible. But why? Highest resolution available, which user sees, is 627x0. It is not the issue.
