Many articles include something like “check out our facebook page” at the end of every text. Such links must be removed if they are consistently placed in an identifiable container.
They are removed when they're in their consistent, reliable identifyable form - placed at the end formatted as bold and italic. Example: https://www.afr.com/brand/afr-magazine/five-luxury-cars-that-tell-the-future-of-motoring-20181212-h190m6
In this page they're in the body as simple paragraphs, without any formatting, so they aren't. It's a specific case, not the template's issue.
