In fact this is not source modification - they just used a proxy to pass through their images and you can bypass it (just when it is present). You won't break anything and things will work. The src link of the image remain untouched - simply the proxy has been removed.

Btw with that proxy I also have the image broken in the webpage, not just in the IV.
