It's only one case where this widget is presented, its "competition" is also over, so we can't see what's presented in this form. Noscript version with direct link and without any rudimentary content is better than unsupporting the whole article because of lack of inline version.

About the link you sent: there was Booking widget with preset place & dates, and your template had only a link to Booking.com main page. In this situation we have direct link to mentioned form, it's completely different situation.
