From the technical point of view, all content of this article is kept in the same class="description" element as the "captions" in the referenced issue. And the HTML comment above says <!-- News Description --> — news description, not image description. So, I guess, DOM structure is misleading here. Although I don't know this site well to date, maybe you have some insights.
