Although you can generate a list from pretty any table, not any table requires it. For me a good detection can be if aListAppart itself thinks table can be represented as list.

Three-column tables and more complex tables should be tagged as @unsupported.

A similar issue has already been rejected, first column could be made more readable but none the less the whole table concepts can be completely understood by reading from this IV page listing.
