the website uses div with class="field field-name-title field-type-ds field-label-hidden" to set author
The website add the author name like that also you may click on the author link here

to see that the website used the author name with "-" and ":"
So this is a website issue not mine to make sure also here is another author

they set his name without "-" and ":" so it is up to them
Also replacing them could lead to miss understand author as they used to separate region and second user as you can also check your template with this link
