og:description and just description is basically the same thing
If a short description exists in the source, it must be used for the link preview (OpenGraph descriptions, lead sections, etc.).

I know why this happens. In <head> this site have meta tags, where like 3 lines are the same thing: og:description, keywords, og:title.
I think description should be first <p> tag in content body. Otherwise this just looks strange.
