The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

IV has to be generated for all pages containing an article. This is a section of AppleInsider that talks about expectations about the iProducts. It'd be great if you added support for this too.
