Meta tags of original page provide real page description which not duplicate article text. But your template use text from article for preview description which is less suitable. So your template in fact lose page description

The checklist says:
"If a short description exists in the source, it must be used for the link preview (OpenGraph descriptions, lead sections, etc.)."
My template generate description from the lead paragraph (and it has an attribute "itemprop="description""). And it's more suitable than meta description because it contains rudimentary text "Click here to find out."
