Since you are not convinced, I'm here to show you another example where missing line breaks make it hard to read.

- I'm not convinced completely anyway. As you can see the source of IV result contains the line break. Using double line break <br><br> to emulate <p> in blockquote is kind of hack.
If either site changes it CSS (the margin for <p>) or IV support blockquote/p then your template will have redundant line breaks.
I'm interesting in opinion of admins because it's a common situation for many domains.
