think, you've sent the link of this article with telegram. if it was published today, then IV bot will use the today's date, hour isn't important.
it only occurs for articles which is published today.
if you do not make this, when a user shares a link to this article (with Telegram), IV bot will handle this page without a date. the page will be cached without a date. no date. it's clear, I hope.

it's more better than leave the date empty.
