There are not simple blockquote - are twitter posts and IV supports twitter posts and it must be handled.

These blockquotes aren't converted to embeds on the site, neither should we do it. If the site editor wanted to embed a tweet, he would do it; but he chose to use raw quotes.

Also, in your template, because of these embeddings, you have a duplicated image in one place and a missing image in another. Deciding for the site editor how to present the content results in altering it, so it shouldn't be done.
