- Well, articles on this site have no "true" kicker, so i use this place to keep information about current page's number in articles which have more than 1 page.

There is separated part of title (page number) need to be presented (because this article type has more than 1 page). There are NO real kickers (up-titles) on this site. I've not endangered any content by using this feature as design element. Sorry, but how should I display information of page number in this case and why kicker is bad decision?

- The page number is not important enough to occupy this premium real estate. When the reader reaches the end of the page, they will see links leading to the next page. This is quite enough.
