- I see no issue here. The cover image illustrates the article and the image in the article itself cannot be removed as it fits in the context (the text refers to it).

- The checklist says the cover shouldn't be duplicated — this means that if you take an image/video out of the article to create a cover, you shouldn't leave it in the article. If the cover has a duplicate in the original article, it is fine to keep it this way.
