- On purpose. All of those "See also" are written by hand, there is no safe way to remove them without endangering the content, I tried and for most cases it worked but sometimes removed something essential (very rarely though).
There are plenty of ways they do these. Sometimes it's "Read:", "Read more:", "Also read:", "Read also" and so on and so on - with strong, in h2 or h3 in p and then bold... I already had a battle with another template author, called "三 陈", we were finding these and we'd remove them by hand.
So I ended up leaving them be. Also, according to the rules:
"Other types of “More” links that are not suitable for the “Related articles” block should be removed, provided this is technically possible without endangering essential content."
As a further note, I do have related articles at the bottom.
