This should be in Date,Author subtitle.
Анон Михалыч
I'd say that it shouldn't be an issue as it's placed as part of the article. But as long as it's easy fixable i'll cover it.

contacts page must not have IV page
Анон Михалыч
contacts page is optional
Accepted by admin
Анон Михалыч
This page does not contain any complex content and does not require any interaction. It has just a couple of paragraphs and is perfectly capable to be represented in IV.

I believe this issue was accepted along with another one but pages like "contacts" were considered optional through the contest, i.e.:

https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/medanelakhbar.com/template3/issue1/

https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/eff.org/template38/issue2/
Declined by admin
It is optional. When there is interaction it is when it should not be generated.

Please accept our apologies.
Template #7 Issue #2
Jun 13, 2017
author
Анон Михалыч
It's part of the article
Accepted by admin
Since author name is presented in a clear way, it should be preserved in 'Date, Author' part.

Reporter's template handles this case better: https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/cinemaholics.ru/template8/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fcinemaholics.ru%2Faus-dem-nichts-cannes%2F
Анон Михалыч
The author is present on page - but not in clear way for program recognition. Author's name does not have any special markup apart from italic font and being in the end of the article. There is no way to reliably extract it from page.

Reporter's template takes author's name from json data which is present in page's source but on some pages names visible to viewer and containing in json differ:
http://cinemaholics.ru/audrey-hepburn
http://cinemaholics.ru/heforshe/
http://cinemaholics.ru/wild/
http://cinemaholics.ru/oscar-2016

In some cases author's name can be mentioned within some additional text which prevents extraction author's name from raw text:
http://cinemaholics.ru/coherence
http://cinemaholics.ru/audrey-hepburn
http://cinemaholics.ru/oscar-2016

Also there can easily be pages having last paragraph of italic text which is no author's name, i.e.:
http://cinemaholics.ru/letopis-oskara/

Considering this there is no reliable way to extract author's name from the page therefore i believe it should be
Accepted by admin
Sorry, but you do not do a good job anyway, for example in cinemaholics.ru/coherence you are showing as an author a lot of extra content that should not be there. And right on this issue page you don't show the author, you have many inconsistencies. Template #10 handles the authors' case well.

Author differs from what is visible to user
Andrew A.
It's taken from JSON contained in the source.

What the user sees when viewing the original article in an ordinary browser has priority over invisible meta-information. Names of actual people are always preferrable over entity names like ‘team’ or the name of the website.

Sorry for bad response: I haven't understood what is asked at first. What I should've said is:

In all cases where we have author name in clear form in the bottom, or after "Guest author" label (try http://cinemaholics.ru/onoff/, for example), I use that line, not meta/JSON content. Here, we have "Перевод" ("Translation") label. I decided that it's not quite clear whether we should take translator name as author, and didn't use it. Translator can quite possibly not be the author of the publication in question.

You're right, the authors are somewhat complicated on this site, but your template does a very good job compared to the others. We did not find any errors that the other templates had, so your solution is acceptable.

Please accept our apologies.

I pretty much believe, link should be removed from the title – it would be misleading for readers.

Template #13 Issue #3

This is very misleading: those are NOT captions for the photos, it is sources for the NEWS (and this format is ubiquitous on this site).

Author can be taken from 1) JSON, 2) italic text in the bottom of the article. Here, you removed the bottom line but have not set author.

In my template, I take author from JSON (which is more reliable, because taking it from italic text in the end is risky) and preserve the bottom line.

This page is pretty special and differs from ordinary articles, so this case is not critical.
