- This text is clearly slider page numeration (which is obsolete thing even for original page by the way, all slides contents are shown as single page), it's rudimentary content that doesn't have anything to do with article text.
Clearly identifiable by <header class="modern-slide-nav">, always contains two invisible links for previous and next slide, shows current slide number (and nothing more), while there's no slides. Again, why you think it should be preserved in IV?
