According to my previous issue and your previous answer.
<table>'ing of image is default way this site handles images with captions. Yes, ugly and outmoted, but we should handle these cases well instead of protecting all pages with complicated structure.
Here, for example, we can remove all empty td-s and feel free with handling these tables as figures.

Duplicated of issue 1. And my answer is still no. It's too complex to identify these images with their captions, if there're only images nested in table, my answer would be yes. But it's not. No IV is better than corrupted IV.
