The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It seems the template isn't protected from dynamic non-target pages - it's trying to generate IV for a main page. In this case IV isn't generated because of <img> inside <a>. That means pages with images inside links (quite common thing) won't be generate IV.
