The comment should be separated somehow from the rest of the content. The avatar should be transformed into <pic> as it is too small and is stretched in the telegram app. Check it for yourself.

Yes, image looks bad in the app, but:
1. <pic> is for icon, but this is not an icon, it's just low-resolution image.
2. According to your statement, we should convert all images with width or height < 320px to icons?
