1) You show for all images in slideshow value from @alt of their thumbnails. It is inappropriate variant because value in @alt almost always repeats article caption (like this article case). And in the gallery images pages we can see other text.
3) And you show credits only for the first image because there is no credits for others thumbnails. But in gallery original images have them.
4) And you remove from the article all links to the gallery pages what is bad because of 1), 2) and 3). So you lost content. You must use @inline or save links to the gallery
