Paragraph separation must be preserved. These text blocks are wrapped in separate <div>s, so it's technically possible.

If you check any of recent articles, you will see that now they use correct <p>'s for paragraphs. I don't think that a single example from the beginning of 2016 is enough to be the reason of declining. If you see this formatting in more recent articles and you think that they can use it again - resubmit this issue, please.
