This source page does not have a cover at all.

If your template sets an image as the cover, the IV generated will use that cover image for the link preview as well.

So this is a valid issue with the template. The template should not be taking any image from the article as the cover, especially if the image is all the way at the bottom of the page.

The image used as cover is taken from the bottom of the source page (Послесловие section). This corrupts the IV.
