The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

First of all, check in the html code that the whole text is inside a unique p tag.
AFAIK there's no specific rule for this.
Furthermore, I don't see any formatting issues or problems caused by that. Please report them if you do.
