I do not feel safe in replacing the image resolution directly in the URL, it may break some images.
This image has a good resolution.

I think Telegram should create a script that takes the highest resolution images of sites already known domains. My template already selects the best image resolution of 4 known domains (this, wp.com and others). If it were to handle every exception here, this template would never get done.
