The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Issue #1

You can get the full name of the author.
It is much more convenient and better than abbreviations of the author’s name.

"Author name is required only if it is consistently presented in the source article in a clear way (at the top of the page, at the very end of the text etc.), especially if there's a name of an actual person."
"Names of actual people are always preferable over entity names like ‘team’ or the name of the website."
Nikita
Hi!

Nicknames are what reader sees when they open the article ("autor: łm"). Full name is not visible to the user. As a general rule, it is better to use what user sees.

Casual reader would recognize nicknames, because they see them in every article, not full names.

Your second quote is not relevant, because "łm" is the name of a specific person, not a generic term.
