those are icons, not photos.

- From the manual:
"Icon -- A small image *inside the text*" (emphasis mine)
<pic> is for in-text images like emoji, bullet icons for lists etc, i.e. images which the size of is important to keep the same as in the source to preserve the original layout. (the IV checklist also makes this clear by mentioning emoji as a use case for icons).
Here the images are not woven into the text and are fine as regular images.
