The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Fixed, but nothing prevents authors from adding new ones after a while. In terms of HTML validity, these are wrong too: any decorative images should provide an empty alt text.
