Image gallery is fully supported, it can be loaded by making iframe with link to AJAX version of gallery.
Here's the code that I used for www.gamepro.de (it use similiar code for site, I tested my code in this page and other pages with galleries):

Maybe this code not so pretty and clean, but it works :)
P.S. I see that articles with video in your template also doesn't generate IV (Example: http://www.gamestar.de/artikel/fast-furious-9-kinostart-verzoegert-sich-spin-off-hobbs-deckard-kommt-zuerst,3320710.html), so here the code for it:
