The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Guess you don't really check many pages, this site has some small cover images, for example https://www.geenstijl.nl/5146911/man-analyseert-alle-gs-comments-over-gulden/, the cover image is only 115px width, so it's not suitable for cover.

You might be wonder if we can get larger one by manipulate url? No, you can't. You can try it yourself https://images.gscdn.nl/image/a267758221_D2BZLrYXcAMaoS6.png-large.png?rect=112%2C0%2C556%2C556&w=115&s=ab138931c289c748b8b8cd9fb6f74510 by modifying 115 in url.

Actually we can get a larger one from og:image in that case, but there're cases where og:image is not same as image in .article_img_container, for example this url https://www.geenstijl.nl/5146830/gs-korting-op-kaartjes-voor-de-international-amsterdam-motor-show/

So, technically, we can't set a suitable cover image for all articles on this site, that's why I leave it in body. It's not a mistake, it's on purpose.
