- Well, I still kinda think I am right and that links should be preserved. The problem is I can't put this link in caption of the slideshow, because on other pages there are actual captions.
But! I thought about it for a moment and came to the conclusion that this link is simply not essential and can be deleted. Think about it as an article category - that's what it is. Not essential for reading, cluttering the space and potentially confuses users, in this case.
So I think it is correct to do as I did here (#71), but for essential links (link to the slideshow page, for example). You didn't mention it is optional link, as I stated earlier.

The problem is that you can't put this in slider, as it's done in original article (only in mobile version). User will recognize this as part of text. This is incorrect.
