Issue #1
- Elian Doran
- Hello, thank you for your report.
Checklist §6.5 also says: "Please don‘t include meaningless alt-text as captions (e.g., the Playstation blog always puts the name of the corresponding game in the alt attribute of all screenshots – there’s no need to reproduce that on the IV page.)"
I have personally checked over a dozen galleries and the conclusion is the same: all `alt` captions, no exceptions, only contain the gallery's title.
What you have managed to do in your own template is to create 16 identical captions that are actually the gallery title and provide no meaningful information whatsoever.

- Creator's response makes sense. We may reconsider this issue if you could present a case where this becomes a problem.
