This <p> tag has the class "figsign". This class on this site defines the <figcaption> tag. You have it represented by the usual paragraph

- A figure can only have one figcaption. And such ones are handled by the template. The author of the article placed an extra caption for what they thought was a picture. But each picture has already had a caption associated to it. So that additional one left alone.
What you did with them is just a dirty hack. No respect for that.
Not an issue with the template.
