1. There are many templates doing the same and I inspired from them. Also you accept some templates that do their own customization for the readability.
2. If you place a "/[num]" to the end of the link, it'll first load this specified image then the others as the original article exactly does. So, it's more important to keep this numbers that describe the order of the image in the gallery. Now I'll change my template to remove this numbers as you wish but if you change your decision, please take my template to the old place and review it again.
