This is highly insecure to do.. there are no tags to identify that portion of text. The only way to remove it is to just remove the last p of the article.. thus it is better to leave as it is. Check my template

As far as I know, copyright information is not essential. It's optional both to remove it and to preserve it.

The method I use is totally safe:

You do not have to delete the last <p> tag as you said. I remove only the text using @replace() with the last text node in the body. If an empty <p> tag remains, then @simplfy() will remove it. If there is more text, then the <p> tag will remain with only that text. Finally, if in the future they will change the copyright string, it will no longer be removed, but no problem since removing it is optional.
