If you really want to leave this banner (that should be removed in my opinion), you should use a <pic> tag with proper height and width to manage it properly otherwise will appear completely stretched in the IV.

- I really have no idea of what is for this issue concretely. You removed the logo of the publisher of the book from the page in your template at your discrection. You cannot decide what is important and what is not.
The logo is shown without any constrain here, just its image source dimensions, I did not stretch or other things to the image. I have not to force it in a pic necessarily (where is in the checklist? and I hope to not read "the other template handles the case better" since it does not). Btw very minor issue eventually. The opposite case instead would be mandatory then.
