Man, I completely don't get your point: that is not at all a category of books.
Please follow me on this reasoning: Donato Carrisi is an author of books (yes, a writer) and he is NOT the author of this article NOR the author of the related articles. Donato Carrisi wrote many books and those books appear in the related section (as it should be since they are related to Donato Carrisi) since they are written by the same writer. The rules talks about authors of posts/articles/pages.. this specific page talks about a writer so, listing as related his books, is fine (and is what it should be done)!
I don't know how to explain better the situation.

If they did not tell you anything first. It does not mean that it is not a problem.
You can clearly see how the author's name is repeated in all the links
If you do not accept this problem. you'll have to fix it on your own, do it!
