- I think the text you quoted from rules is not about 'convert every <iframe> to link if its a video embed', no. This rule can be applied if embedded video has a suitable link/page. For example, Dailymotion videos currently unsupported, we can convert embedded video to its page on Dailymotion, but Brightcove is an enterprise video hosting/platform, and it doesnt provide public link for embedded videos (like on Youtube, Vimeo etc) that can be suitable for replacing embed.
And I think, article should contain some useful text to put it in link (like 'WATCH VIDEO: Blah blah blah...' in video caption), so that we would not need to draw something of our own in article.
