I think this is a duplicate. There is a way to safely remove it.

- Thank you for reporting this. I will have to assume that you were referring to the cover image being duplicated with the image right below it.
The website has a special section for cover images, which is displayed correctly in the template. There are also images manually inserted into the content of the article. In this particular case, it happens to be duplicate, but the same can be said about the original website.
All things considered, this is something the content author has decided to do and I do not think it should be our responsibility to fix.
