Normally, if related links are not identifiable, then their handling would be optional.

However, this template actually has a bug in this page.

The template is removing the text of the related block, preventing it from being processed by the rest of the template's code.

If the template is not going to support the related link, then it should be arbitrarily removing text from the source.

So this is a valid issue.

Sorry, I meant, if template isn't going to handle related links, then the template should also NOT arbitrarily remove text from the article.
