- This is VERY risky. Since there are no classes, you can only make into captions all italic text after images. What if some ordinary text goes in italics? (I haven't come across an actual example, but this is close: http://ua.interfax.com.ua/news/press-release/334178.html.) You will make it caption, though it isn't. It's better to leave it as it is.
Also, this format is not widespread with this site (if at all used anywhere besides this page). Actually, if you put "site:interfax.com.ua/news/press-release" in Google Images and follow the links, you won't get pages with image captions for the first 30-50 results (as far as I checked).
