This image should be used as cover. It is out of the body context and it easily identifiable.

The class name is "itemImage", where the prefix "item" clearly refers to the article, in fact we have also: "itemHeader", "itemIntroText", "itemFullText", etc.
So in this case "itemImage" has the same meaning of classes found in other website for covers (featured-img”, “cover”, “lead_img”, “main_image”).
