But I think it may be an invalid issue, the articles are old and the author is listed at the end of the article, where he is not highlighted by class/id/something

Please recheck this.
This is simple p/strong that is part of article text, there's nothing to select on. Since it's typed by hand I don't see how it's possible to support it safely/reliably for all other variations of formating editors might use.

Also, 2013. Other article with autor specified anywhere is yet to be found.
