There many similar articles on this website where the featured image is duplicated right after it with no particular sense — and there we face a collision in the rules:
1. It is obligatory to use a cover image if the image is present on the page and described in the source as “featured-img”…
2. The cover must not be set if the cover image is duplicated in the article.
Since the image in the article is always presented right after the featuted one and does not belong to any specific part of the text, I give precedence to the first rule.
