- In general, all essential content must be supported in an IV, otherwise an IV should not be generated. It's not acceptable to generate a corrupted IV.
That is why with the <iframe> method, if an embed is not supported yet, an IV won't be generated, but if the embed becomes supported, the IV will generate.
So if something is considered "optional", an IV should still not end up generating a corrupted IV either way.
Hopefully this clarifies things.
