In this template first image from the article always becomes thumbnail for link preview. Checklist says: "Thumbnail for link preview must be shown if a suitable image or document exists in the source". It seems to me that first image from the article is not suitable image for it because appropriate image link is in meta-tags of the page and it often differs from first image in the article content.
