It is valid image, you can check it by open the link. OR you can check it by look at image in article, which has identical src attribute: https://i.vgy.me/2KJs2J.png
I think you fixed this by hard modifying link and removing single bracket character (') in the end of src, which is pretty clever
But I think I should not modify src attribute for a valid image to "fix" an IV bug (and I've seen some templates rejected for modifying srcs)

To admins:
i was asumming, that hrefs were hardcoded, in template44 #1 issue but it is not. It it posible to use brain, and get image href as wel las item href fomr image src for all New items.

For entries what they just present it as iframe, so we provide hrefs also Along with iframes. (depends on source. but mostly 2015 2014 pages)
