Until then it doesn't really matter whether you mark it with @unsupported or make it into an iframe - neither will generate an IV page.

Here the JW player's doc explaining how to obtain the iframe version of the player:

Moreover JW player is in the list of popular widgets that will be implemented in the future, so using the iframe version will assure the page support.
Marking the entire element as unsupported will never allow to the page to be displayed
